Hurray! It's spring break!

It's here finally! Perhaps I'll be able to sleep in a little or perhaps for at least an extra hour. That would be nice....

My grad class was boring as usual and I couldn't connect to the internet so I went ahead and made a template during it. Here is today's freebie template:

I named it "Scroll" simply because of the main shape in it. I used actual text boxes for the brackets (Used Segoe Script), but I am sure many of you have kits that have brackets in them to use. Click here to download today's freebie!

FRAMED!

No I was not framed... not that I know of. Too many hectic things going on.... I'm lucky I haven't lost my head. Sometimes I wish I could though with the amount of pain in my sinuses :( Sorry for the lack of posts lately! Miss me? Maybe?

Anyhow, I do have a freebie template for you that I am calling Framez, because the photos have frames but they aren't perfectly aligned, hence the Z. Without further ado....

A case of the Mondays...

Agh, I hate Mondays! They are just the pits. Today I just didn't feel like doing anything, but needless to say, that doesn't work when you have a room full of 5th graders. Oy.

Oh No! Hiatus!

Alright folks, I am going to have to apologize for leaving you with nothing this week! It's been hectic and worryful. Between myself and my mom, we've enough health problems to probably put several doctors' children through college. I had sinus surgery just before Thanksgiving, and ended up getting a staph infection shortly after. Multiple (EXPENSIVE, non-insurance covered) antibiotics and 3 months later, I still have a staph infection so I get to go to a disease specialist... lovely isn't it?
My mom has a bone that's grown in her frontal sinus and they thought it was just going to be a typical surgery but now they are thinking its going to be brain surgery because its going in that direction.... OY.

And this week at my school, it's standardized testing time! It's my first time giving the test, not taking them. OY.

So I sat down and made a few templates yesterday.... Here's two of them: Grid & Stacked.

The Great Divide

Because of a Polish soldier, I got to have today off from work. Very few people know about Casmir Pulaski, only that some school's give you the day off for it. He was from Poland, where he and his family fought against Russia. They got kicked out of Poland and he wrote to Benjamin Franklin about helping the US in fighting the British. He began the first Calvary in the US..... and there's your info for the day! And now for today's freebie template!

I have tons of ideas of templates and though it may take away from grading papers (like the stack of English tests next to me!) it's a nice break :)
